Technical Guides

The CPSA Technical Design Guide includes sections on system design and installation of pipes and manholes. 

It incorporates changes that have occurred since the introduction of European Standards BS EN 1916:2002 Concrete pipes and fittings, unreinforced, steel fibre and reinforced and BS EN 1917:2002 Concrete manholes and inspection chambers, unreinforced, steel fibre and reinforced as well as the complementary British Standard BS5911 series relevant for practice in the UK.

Although requirements remain fundamentally the same, changes have been made to both terminology and test requirements and these are reflected in the Technical Design Guide. The Guide was last updated in MAY 2011.
