The Concrete Pipeline Systems Association mission is “to
research and promote the many technical, commercial and
environmental benefits of precast concrete pipeline systems
and to maximise their contribution to the UK’s drainage
and sewerage networks".
We aim to provide you with the most comprehensive range
of information on concrete drainage products ever produced.
This includes general information such as product ranges,
key issues, information, such as resistance to chemicals,
standards, and system design - both hydraulic and structural.

Concrete pipes at the CPD Roadseminar Tour – London, Thursday 25th March
The CPD Roadseminar tour is arriving to London this month (25th March) with 14 different presentations to engineers, architects and other practitioners in the construction industry. One of the presentations at the event will be CPSA’s Choosing the Right Pipeline System – Now and for the Future. The presentation highlights current waste water industry challenges and shows how concrete pipeline system characteristics can help address these issues. Areas covered include installed capital costs, maintenance & operational costs, installation, integrity & durability, design flexibility, sustainability, quality & innovation. The Seminar will be held at the Royal National Hotel.

Twelve environmental advantages of concrete drainage systems
The Concrete Pipeline Systems Association (CPSA) and the Box Culvert Association (BoxCA) have published "Concrete Drainage and Sewerage Products: your sustainable option".
The brochure identifies 12 sustainability advantages of concrete drainage systems and offers information about the manufacture of products and why the environmental impacts associated with these systems are typically low. It also illustrates how concrete drainage products can be used to improve sustainability and reduce environmental impacts.

CPSA launches all-new CPD programme
A new CPD accredited programme has been launched by the Concrete Pipeline Systems Association. The material consists of an updated presentation “Choosing the right pipeline system – now and for the future” and an official text book accompanying the presentation highlighting the many advantages of concrete and covering pipeline design, costs, installation, quality and sustainability.
The presentation is ideal for engineers, contractors, specifiers and other industry professionals and can be offered as a free lunchtime seminar at a local office or suitable location. CPD certificates are available to all attendees.
The booklet “20 Reasons why concrete pipeline systems are the best option – now and for the future” explains in detail why concrete pipeline systems are the most suitable choice in the short and long term. Free copies will be made available as part of the Choosing the right pipeline system CPD seminar programme.
